Terms and Conditions

1. Registration and Accuracy of Information

1.1. The player (or their father/mother/legal guardian in the case of minors) declares that all information provided during the registration process is true, complete, and up to date.

1.2. Any false, inaccurate, or incomplete data shall constitute grounds for refusing access to or cancelling participation in the trial showcase, without any obligation on the part of GTT to issue a refund.

2. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds (by the Player)

2.1. Payment of the trial registration fee is mandatory in order to secure and confirm the player's place.

2.2. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, non-attendance, late arrivals, changes of plan, personal reasons, or any other circumstances outside the control of Golden Ticket Tryouts (GTT).

2.3. Only in the event of a verifiable medical injury that prevents the player from participating may their place be rescheduled for a future trial showcase, subject to availability. The injury must be substantiated by an official and valid medical certificate or report.

3. Operational Changes, Force Majeure, and Event Viability

3.1. Weather and Force Majeure Policy: In the event that the showcase must be cancelled, postponed, or interrupted due to force majeure (including, but not limited to: severe weather/thunderstorms, flooding, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, or "Acts of God"), GTT shall not be liable to refund the registration fee nor to cover any travel or accommodation expenses. In such cases, the sole responsibility of GTT will be to offer a credit note or a rescheduling option for a future date, at the sole discretion of the organization.

3.2. Disclaimer and Modifications: Event planning is undertaken in good faith. However, Golden Ticket Tryouts reserves the right to modify program details, including changes to venues, facilities, or dates, when:

  • Safety considerations, weather, or circumstances beyond our control make it necessary.

  • The volume of registrations received falls below the minimum number required to operate the event viably.

3.3. Remedies for Changes: In the event that the showcase must be modified or cancelled by the organization due to a lack of quorum (low player turnout) or operational inviability, GTT will offer, at its sole discretion:

  • To provide a comparable service (rescheduling the date or offering an alternative venue); or

  • To refund the proportional part of the service not rendered.

In any of these scenarios, GTT’s liability will terminate automatically, and the client shall have no further right to claim against the organization.

3.4. Right to Relocate: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure affecting the Original Venue, GTT reserves the right to relocate the training session to an Alternative Venue which, as far as reasonably practicable, will be within the same geographical area and maintain a comparable standard. Participants will be notified as far in advance as possible.

3.5. Interruption: If the event has commenced and must be suspended after completing at least 50% of its scheduled duration due to weather or safety concerns, the service shall be deemed fully delivered.

4. Nature of the Event and Absence of Guarantees

4.1. The player understands and accepts that the trial showcase is a space for sports evaluation and observation. Participation in Golden Ticket Tryouts does not create any commitment, obligation, promise, or guarantee on the part of Golden Ticket Tryouts, its scouts, coaches, or partners, that the player will secure a contract with any professional club or team.

4.2. Any prospect of an invitation, further trial, scholarship, or professional signing will depend exclusively on the player’s sporting performance and the independent decisions of the interested clubs or institutions, over which Golden Ticket Tryouts has no control or liability.

5. Sporting Risks and Liability Waiver

5.1. The player acknowledges that playing football and undergoing physical or technical testing involve inherent risks, such as collisions, falls, muscular, joint, and bone injuries, as well as other physical harms and potential damage to their kit or personal belongings.

5.2. By registering and participating in the trial showcase, the player (and, where applicable, their parent/mother/legal guardian) voluntarily assumes all risks arising from the sporting activity.

5.3. The player expressly releases Golden Ticket Tryouts, its directors, employees, scouts, coaches, commercial partners, sponsors, and sports venues from any liability for injuries, accidents, losses, thefts, or material damage, except in cases where gross negligence or willful misconduct is fully proven in accordance with applicable law.

5.4. Indemnity: The player (and their legal guardian) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GTT against any claims, demands, or costs arising as a result of the player's conduct, including damage to facilities or injuries caused to third parties.

6. Medical Care and Insurance

6.1. The player is solely responsible for maintaining medical insurance or medical expense coverage deemed sufficient for their safe participation in the trial showcase.

6.2. Golden Ticket Tryouts is under no obligation to cover medical, hospital, rehabilitation, or similar expenses resulting from injuries sustained during the trial, unless otherwise stipulated by law.

6.3. Medical Consent: In the event of an emergency, if the legal guardian is not present, GTT personnel are authorized to arrange emergency medical care and hospital transfer. The player assumes full financial responsibility for all such expenses.

7. Use of Image and Media Rights

7.1. The player authorizes Golden Ticket Tryouts to use their name, image, voice, and any audiovisual material captured during the trial (photographs, videos) for informational, promotional, and commercial purposes related to the project. This applies across print, digital media, and social networks, without any obligation for additional payment or royalties.

7.2. In the case of minors, this authorization is deemed granted by the father, mother, or legal guardian completing the registration.

7.3. The data subject may revoke this authorization by following the procedure established in the Privacy Notice, without retroactive effect on material that has already been published.

8. Conduct and Internal Rules

8.1. The player commits to maintaining a respectful attitude and conduct toward other players, coaches, scouts, staff, and spectators.

8.2. Any violent, discriminatory, unsporting behaviour, or conduct that places third parties at risk may result in immediate expulsion from the trial showcase without entitlement to a refund.

8.3. The player must strictly respect the schedule, instructions from the organization, and the internal regulations of the host venue.

8.4. Personal Belongings: GTT accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items (such as mobile phones, cash, or equipment) left unattended at the facilities.

9. Limitation of Legal Liability

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable legislation, Golden Ticket Tryouts shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential damages, loss of opportunities, recruitment expectations, or any other claim arising from the player's participation in the trial showcase or the use of the website.

9.2. Any successful claim shall be strictly limited, where applicable, to the amount actually paid by the client for registration to the corresponding trial showcase, unless otherwise mandated by law.

9.3. The player agrees that any legal action must be brought within the statutory limitation period prescribed by applicable law; once this period has expired, no claim shall be admissible.

10. Data Protection

10.1. References to the GDPR in this clause correspond to the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

10.2. For the purposes of managing participation in trial showcases, evaluating athletic performance, and safeguarding the welfare of participants, Golden Ticket Tryouts will collect and process personal data, including special category data (such as medical or health information necessary for sporting safety) relating to the participant and their circumstances.

10.3. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018, the Data Controller is Golden Ticket Tryouts.

10.4. Full details regarding the personal data collected, the purposes for which it is gathered, and the legal basis for processing are contained within the Golden Ticket Tryouts Privacy Policy, which can be accessed via the following link: https://goldentickettryouts.com.
